Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri tells Tom Cairney he has to shoot more

Victor Moses passes the Torch to Hudson-Odoi

Maurizio Sarri thinks Callum Hudson-Odoi isn't ready to play in the Premier League despite dazzling in the Europa League.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly indicated that he wants assurances over his game-time before penning a new contract at Chelsea.

'He is a good player with a high quality, but I want more from him, ' said Ranieri.

After the match Sarri was qualified in his praise of Hudson-Odoi, reminding the youngster of where he expects him to improve.

"I don't know if he is able [to be ready] for the Premier League at 18, especially in a big team".

Hudson-Odoi made his first-team debut under Antonio Conte in January 2018 as Chelsea defeated Newcastle United 3-0 in the FA Cup.

"Every time I got the ball I just wanted to do what I do normally, keep it simple at times but do my stuff, and as soon as I got the goal I couldn't believe it. The players come in happier, but now we have to forget about the last game and think about Chelsea - another hard game for us".

No, I haven't spoken to anyone.

Reports suggest that Aston Villa are now interested in signing Gary Cahill while Calciomercato believe AC Milan want the services of the England global by the end of January.

"I spoke with him; he remembers me, he came to me and said 'can I come to watch your training session?'", said former Chelsea boss Ranieri. "I will celebrate tonight with my family".

This does not bode well for a game against Maurizio Sarri's free-flowing outfit, which has been outscored by only Manchester City so far this league campaign.

David Luiz put in one of the worst performances from a defender last weekend we have seen all year.

Or does he deserve more patience after how good he's been for us over the past few years? Before the match we knew were in the first of the group after the BATE result, so it wasn't easy to find a big motivation. "For this, I'm really very happy".
