White House accused of using 'doctored' Jim Acosta video

John Legend slams Trump during President's wild press conference

Hours after a fired-up President Trump clashed with the media yesterday in a wild post-midterm press conference, the White House suspended the press pass of CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

Sanders also shared a video clip that matched one tweeted by Paul Joseph Watson, an editor of the far-right new site Infowars, which purported to show that Acosta touched the aide as she tried to take a microphone away from him. In the exchange, Trump called Acosta a "rude, awful person" and suggested CNN should fire him.

"In an explanation, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders lied", the network said.

The email address you have provided is already registered. "You shouldn't be working for CNN", Trump said. "His statement, 'Pardon me, ma'am, ' is not included in the video Sanders shared", Washington Post technology reporter Drew Harwell wrote.

Acosta took to social media, complaining that the U.S. Secret Service had asked for his credentials to enter the White House.

And CNN has slammed the White House for its actions.

"Mr. President, I have one other question on the Russian Federation investigation". Trump then said he wanted immigrants to "come in legally".

"That's enough, that's enough", the president said, before telling Mr Acosta to sit down and to put down his microphone.

FDA Approves Controversial New Opioid
According to critics, the decision will only fuel the United States' drug crisis even further rather than improving it. Gottlieb said the drug will carry a boxed warning and won't be available at drugstores for patients to take home.

"Here we go", Trump said to Acosta. You shouldn't be working for CNN.

"They are not only risky, they are disturbingly un-American", CNN tweeted after the exchange.

For the record, Acosta has denied that he did anything wrong and claimed the White House was trying to "send a message" with his ouster.

The CNN reporter Acosta said: "But your campaign had an ad showing migrants climbing over walls".

Acosta called Sanders' statement "a lie".

"Obviously I don't think anybody should have-any young woman, particularly-should have somebody swiping away at them and grabbing the microphone back", she added. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter's colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question.

The president had been talking to other reporters and really railing against them.

Sanders "provided fraudulent accusations and cited an incident that never happened", the United States cable network said.

Sanders used a 15 second video clip that appeared to have been significantly manipulated to prove her accusation.
