Florida Democrat Andrew Gillum targeted by second racist robocall

Gillum's story of how he paid for his ticket and his villa vacay is now being picked apart by the opposition, thrown in his face as proof that he's unfit for the Governor's mansion, and re-spun by the Gillum camp heading into the final two weeks of a testy and tumultuous campaign.

In noting that turnout for the November 6 election has already topped 15 percent, the Florida Chamber of Commerce posted in a daily report that black voters account for about 9 percent of the people who have cast ballots. He did not immediately return a request for comment. "More will come out".

The FBI is investigating whether the city directed redevelopment funds at specific projects to favor friends and acquaintances. The trip has become the focus of an ethics investigation and is tied to the FBI investigation into local corruption in Tallahassee.

He released receipts and bank statements last month that proved he paid at least some of his own way.

Among the records this committee subpoenaed and later released to the public is an exchange of text messages that made it clear one of the undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation agents gave Gillum a ticket to the popular Broadway musical "Hamilton", which Gillum attended while on a trip to NY in August, 2016.

In preparation for the NY trip, Miller texted Corey, "I have the boat lined up for the trip in August", on July 12, 2016.

Gillum did not hold back.

In a telephone interview, Gillum said he listened to the beginning of the audio but didn't play all of it. "Have you seen Hamilton?". But they can not deny that they are favored by racists, and that racists believe they will benefit by these candidates' election. "I am not going to bow down to the altar of political correctness", concluded the man who launched his campaign against a black man by urging voters not to "monkey up" the election. It's playing out against the backdrop of President Donald Trump, who has tapped into racial anxiety with warnings of rampant violence in urban areas, voter fraud, a caravan of migrants and unknown "Middle Easterners" threatening the US southern border.

Apple's big keynote previewed: new iPad Pros and more
As for other iPad Pro design changes worth mentioning, the new tablets will reportedly not ship with a 3.5mm headphone jack. AirPower, which has seen numerous delays (as recently as last month), was removed nearly entirely from Apple's website.

Democrats were largely inclined to side with Gillum, who by other measures was having a fine day Tuesday. The event followed a luncheon in Palm Beach County, and between the two events the campaign raised around $2.5 million, according to Democratic booster Chris Korge, who helped coordinate the two events.

"Some people were paying more for premiums than for rent, so people couldn't afford it".

"Low-earning people are going to be hurt the most", DeSantis said.

"I should have asked more questions to make sure that everything that transpired was above board", Gillum said, before quickly trying to switch topics.

On Twitter, Kevin Cate, an advisor to the Gillum campaign, called for the texts to stop.

The story is nearly certain to live on.

That was the moment right before the first clip of Gillum calling him out for being beloved by racists.
