Kohli smashes Tendulkar's record in reaching 10 000 ODI runs

The 29-year old stylish right-hander now is the fifth Indian cricketer and the 13th in all of the global cricket to have scored 10,000 ODI runs.

India skipper Virat Kohli became Wednesday the fastest-ever batsman to reach 10,000 one-day worldwide runs, making history in his 205th innings against the West Indies in Visakhapatnam. Kohli, who is one of the best in modern-day cricket achieved this feat during the second one-dayer against the West Indies in Hyderabad and took just 205 innings to achieve this unique milestone.

Kohli also scaled another magnificent record as he becomes the fastest batsman in terms of career-span to reach the 10,000- club.

Tendulkar had taken 11 years and 103 days to reach the 10,000 milestone.

Winning Numbers in 1.6 Billion Dollar Mega Millions Jackpot Announced
Powerball was the first to try the theory in October 2015, when it changed the potential number combinations. That would also result in the lump sum amount of $1.142 billion, which is nothing to sneeze at.

The game has perhaps never seen a cricketer as consistent as Kohli. He is now the world's No.1 batsman in both the Test and one-day formats.

The Indian cricket team put on yet another tremendous display of batting in the 2nd ODI against the Windies at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, led from the front by skipper Virat Kohli to register a massive 321/6 in their 50 overs.

With his unbeatable performances, Kohli has won several accolades including the Arjuna award, ICC World Cricketer of the year and multiple BCCI worldwide Cricketer of the Year awards.

Earlier in the day, Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first.
