Ozil has quit the German national team citing the controversy over a photograph with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan as reason for his decision.
The most prominent German politician of Turkish heritage, Cem Ozdemir, called on Monday for the resignation of German Football Association (DFB) head Reinhard Grindel, who Ozil said had blamed him for Germany's early departure from this year's World Cup in Russian Federation.
"It is not possible to accept this kind of racist, Islamophobic attitude towards a young man who gave and added so much to the success of the German national team".
Mesut Ozil's shock retirement from global football caught Germany head coach Joachim Loew by surprise, it emerged on Tuesday.
"The TFF offers its full support to Mesut Ozil and his family and we condemn the treatment, threats and derogatory messages that he has received because of his heritage and background".
Ozalan, born in 1972, has represented Turkey 87 times in the national team, making him the country's sixth-most capped player of all time.
The news that he had no warning is surprising as Arslan has a co-operation agreement with Ozil's advisor Erkut Sogut, who only warned the DFB that a statement would be released on Sunday.
Cristiano Ronaldo: I'm here to help Juventus finally win Champions League
Ronaldo admitted his future was up in the air after he won a third Champions League in a row with victory over Liverpool in Kiev. Will Ronaldo guide Juventus to Champions League glory?
But Thomas Bareiss, a senior member of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democrats, said it showed "disrespect" and was "misplaced", while German daily Bild said Ozil was "revelling in the victim role that has nothing to do with reality". "He had been playing s*** for years".
The report further revealed that Iwobi who was in Nigeria's squad to the 2018 Federation Internationale de Football Association world Cup in Russia is not in new Arsenal manager Unai Emery's plans going into the new campaign. "And now he and his s***** performance hide beyond this picture".
"No, absolutely no", he said.
German football chiefs have yet to respond to Ozil's claims. In this case, the stats are clear.
"I think his time to play in the national team is over". Mr Hoeness, we will not waste any more time or energy talking about a subject clearly you know nothing about.
However, others see Ozil's retirement as no great loss for Germany. Hoeness knows what he is doing.
