Woman who went missing in vegetable garden swallowed by python

Her head was facing the snake's tail and her feet was up at its mouth- meaning she'd been swallowed head first

54-year-old Wa Tiba was found villagers after they cut open the 23-foot long giant reptile.

Indonesian villagers claimed to have captured the 447 kilograms (985 pounds) python.

Wa's sons made the chilling discovery after spotting the killer python with a giant bulging belly barely able to move on the ground, just metres away from a patch of bushes where her sandals were found.

"The family then reported this to the police and the search reached its conclusion at 9am".

Suspecting that the snake has swallowed the victim, the residents killed it and carried out of the garden.

According to the reports, Wa Tiba's things were found in the area, causing suspicion that the snake might have swallowed her.

Even though the Cavaliers were much better than the Pacers, I still trashed-talked with my friends in hope of a Pacers win. Kevin Love's Cleveland Cavaliers career hasn't always been rosy, but he doesn't want it to end just yet.

Faris said the villagers killed the snake and when they cut open its belly, they found the woman's body still intact wearing all her clothes.

Reticulated pythons grab onto their prey with dozens of sharp curved teeth and then squeeze it to death before swallowing it whole.

The police chief said that the garden where the victim disappeared was at the base of a cliff and known to be a home for snakes.

In March previous year, a farmer was killed by a python in the village of Salubiro on Sulawesi island.

Giant pythons, which regularly exceed six metres, are commonly found in Indonesia and the Philippines. Though they have been known to attack small animals, attempts to eat people are rare. Nevertheless, just such a horror took place on an adjacent island past year, when a man's body was extracted from a 23-foot-long python, shown in a gruesome YouTube video.
