'Wonder Woman 1984' Is Filming As First Image Reveals Chris Pine's Return

Wonder Woman 2 Gal Gadot

Mustaches aside, the future looks bright for the DC Extended Universe with anticipation brewing towards Aquaman this December and with Wonder Woman 1984 and Shazam! set for the big screen next year.

Wonder Woman 1984 doesn't hit theaters until November 1st, 2019, so there's a pretty long wait before we get to see how Steve Trevor made his way to the year 1984.

Pine's Trevor, who sacrificed himself during World War I in 2017's "Wonder Woman", can be seen dressed in an '80s avatar, along with the extras rocking yesteryear's look.

Now, with Warner Bros. having released a few pictures from the film, it appears another character will also be in the mix, one that we-spoiler alert-saw perish in an airplane explosion.

Ralph Northam confirmed what was becoming fairly apparent Wednesday: The "Wonder Woman" sequel is filming around the District. We're not entirely certain how that would work, but this is a comic book movie.

Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade's deaths are part of a growing problem in the US
According to the report , 24 other states saw increases of more than 30 percent from 1999 to 2016. Asking if they've had suicidal thoughts is not harmful and lets them know you care, she said.

Both Jenkins and Gadot dropped major bombshells about the new movie on social media today.

It is being speculated that in the second stand-alone movie, Wonder Woman will stop the world war from going nuclear, given the story arc set during the peak of geopolitical tension. She tweeted a photo of Diana Prince in front of a bank of TVs (one which shows Christie Brinkley in a red convertible in the memorable scene from the 1983 National Lampoon's Vacation movie). Joining Gal and Chris on the cast are Kristen Wiig, who will be playing the main villain, Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal, who has reportedly been cast in an important role. Let us know down in the comments.

The news is out: Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman sequel will be called "Wonder Woman 1984".
