Emotional Dennis Rodman breaks down over Trump and Kim summit

North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un visits The Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore

Speaking from Singapore, during the historic summit, Mr Rodman, who turned to advocate for North Korea in recent years, opened up about his personal friendship with Kim and his struggle to be taken seriously by the former United States leader.

Rodman talked about "falling in love" with the people and culture of North Korea, and described Kim as "a good friend".

Rodman visited Kim in North Korea again previous year while "trying to open a door" for Trump, even giving Kim a gift: Trump's book, "The Art of the Deal". "I was sitting up protecting everything", said Rodman.

Speaking to Cuomo from Singapore, Rodman openly wept over the summit, described death threats he reportedly received as a result of trying to broker peace between the US and North Korea, and castigated Obama for reportedly rebuffing his attempts to help in peace talks between the two countries after returning home from his first trip to North Korea.

"But I kept my head up high, brother". I knew things were gonna change. "I'm glad it did", Rodman said Tuesday of the historic summit in Singapore". In the era of peak post-truth, Rodman, Trump, & Kim raised the proverbial violins aboard a sinking ship of falsehoods and lies.

The US President and North Korea's leader have finally met.

Rodman continued to vent and weep. He was joined by three members of the Harlem Globetrotters and a Vice Media team filming a documentary. "She sent her best wishes and said that Donald Trump is really proud of you. He thanks you a lot". "I guess it gave me a little more shine of a light as far as like knowing the fact that I did something pretty, pretty historical as far as like bringing awareness to North Korea and some of the issues that's over there", Rodman explained.

Kanye West & Kid Cudi Are Moving Forward On New Song "Reborn"
In true West fashion, the listening session was shrouded in mystery up until the day of the event. Most notably, it appears André 3000 worked alongside Boogz, Kanye , and Cudi on "Fire".

His earlier visits to North Korea included a basketball game he organized, an event chronicled in the documentary film "Big Bang in Pyongyang", which featured Rodman singing "Happy Birthday" to Kim, as well as scenes of inebriated and erratic behavior by the basketball Hall of Famer.

Whatever Rodman's role is in Singapore, he would be wise to note that being found guilty of possession or consumption of cannabis, under the city-state's strict drug laws, could result in a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, a hefty fine and also caning.

In the interview, Rodman bawls while telling CNN host Chris Cuomo about the death threats he received when he first came back from meeting with Kim Jong-un in 2013. "So that tells you. Why is he held captive here in this country, why?" I asked him, I said, 'I have something to say from North Korea and he just brushed me off.

Mr Rodman added he suspected he "somewhat had something to do with this North Korean situation".

The publicity stunt did not see any specific action taken, instead, Rodman simply appeared in various interviews and talks with a wealth of news outlets, wearing a Potcoin branded t-shirt, that stated 'Peace Starts in Singapore'.
