BlackBerry KEY2 images leaked ahead of launch

TCL gives the Black Berry Key2 a separate Chinese launch amidst big retail push

The latest leak comes from the serial tipster Evan Blass who has shared the images on Twitter. The leaked image give a detailed view of the upcoming smartphone showing the phone from various angles.

Anyone looking to get back into the Blackberry name? There are also dual cameras on the phone. With only a few days to go before its official announcement on June 7, we are now getting more renders of the handset. The manufacturer of the phone, TCL, has upgraded the Key 2 to a Snapdragon 660 from the Snapdragon 625 processor.

On the camera part, the smartphone is expected to arrive with a dual camera setup on the back, with the combination of a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, along with a secondary rear camera. And the companies have been teasing the handset as an "icon reborn" leading up to that date.

China's ZTE signs preliminary agreement to lift United States ban
The resolution of the ZTE case may clear the way for the U.S.to make progress in its high-stakes trade talks with China. While the agreement has not been finalized, ZTE has apparently agreed to pay another hefty fine to revive its business.

The BlackBerry Key2 will have 6GB of RAM and be available with 64GB or 128GB storage options. On the top, the smartphone can have a 3.5 mm audio jack, while on the bottom there is a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board, as per the leaked sheet, include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. Yet another important change is that the fingerprint sensor is integrated into the spacebar of the Qwerty keyboard.

The non-removable battery has a 3,500mAh capacity, which if the Key2 performs anything like its predecessor, will get you through the day easily, although Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 is present. The new model, however, has the same display panel that featured on its predecessor. We've now come to now that BlackBerry's NY event on June 7 will not be the only event that BlackBerry will host in order to promote the release of its upcoming smartphone.

The details regarding prices and availability of the BlackBerry KEY2 will probably be announced at the official launch, scheduled for tomorrow.
