Body cam video shows New Jersey cop punching woman on the beach

Police in New Jersey have released three segments of body camera footage showing an officer wrestling a woman to the sand at a beach and punching her head during an arrest, according The Star Ledger. After a bystander tells the officer to refrain from throwing blows, Weinman yells out, "you're not allowed to beat me like that".

It began with an officer having 20-year-old Emily Weinman, of Philadelphia, blowing into a breathalyzer a couple times after suspecting underage drinking. Emily had a beer next to her but passed a breathalyzer test before the officers tackled her.

The situation escalated when Weinman refused to provide her last name and walked away from the officers.

At least two of the three officers involved were reassigned to desk duty earlier this week. According to the police statement, she is seen striking the officer on the torso, which also turns off the body camera, according to police. Yet another interpretation could be her arms are coming up in a defensive posture and that he runs into her arms as he tries to take her down. It is then that she spits and says to the officer: "You white piece of trash". The department said in a news release that the incident is "still under investigation", but it wanted to release the footage to ensure "transparency with the public". As the video shows, Weinman states that the alcohol belonged to her aunt, who was not seen in the recordings.

Cavaliers still think they have the blueprint for beating the Warriors
Cleveland held a 19-4 advantage on the offensive glass, getting seven offensive rebounds in the first half to the Warriors' none. He explained that he "was already on the court trying to get the refs' attention before the scuffle ", per ESPN's Chris Haynes .

Body camera footage released by the Wildwood Police Department in New Jersey shows more details about the controversial arrest of a woman on the beach for underage drinking. The struggle ensues, with her limbs flailing and her cursing at the officers as one gets her in a chokehold and punches her hard at least twice to her head.

"From what I see on the video and only on the video, from not even talking to the officers, I think they did a decent job", Regalbuto told NJ.com. She tells police that beverages near her are unopened but an officer replies that it constitutes "open display on the beach". She wouldn't give me her last name, so I said, 'Hey, if you're not going to give me your information, you're going to be locked up'. She started kicking at us so I slammed her on the ground.

"I know that didn't come up positive. I didn't do anything wrong". "I tried grabbing her". When he says she was kicking them, they dispute his account. She says she's 20.

"OK, I'm done with you... do you have cuffs on you?" one officer says to his partner.
