Warriors owner 'tired' of facing LeBron, Cavaliers in NBA Finals

LeBron James followed up his jaw-dropping block with an epic full-court staredown

The Rockets had no answer for the Warriors in the third quarter of most of their games this series and it was that quarter that propelled the Warriors to another NBA Finals appearance.

The Warriors recovered from a 15-point deficit in the first half to overpower the Houston Rockets 101-92 and set up a fourth consecutive finals showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers. At one point, the Rockets missed an inconceivable 27 consecutive three-point shots, including going 0-for-14 in the third quarter.

All games will air live in a repeat of last year's historic bilingual simulcast starting Game 1, which will be hosten by the Warriors, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

The Warriors are listed as -1000 moneyline favorites to beat the Cavs in their fourth straight Finals meeting (bet $1,000 to win $100), which equates to an implied probability of around 91 percent.

Scoring a 10.3 in metered market results, last night's Warrior-Rockets game was the highest-rated National Basketball Association game this year on cable or broadcast. Sorry for you guys who don't know much about Cedar Point, but it's been a roller coaster. It was an impressive season and one that we should be thankful for as Celtics fans. Late in the playoffs guys are exhausted, sometimes their legs aren't there and that leads to shots flattening out and, in the end, not going in. While those are stellar achievements, they mean absolutely nothing after what happened Monday night in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. Their offensive production gave Golden State the lift that they needed in order to get the separation to come out on top on the road.

Just listen to what the Rockets' Eric Gordon, a scoring stud all series who stepped into Chris Paul's spot in Games 6 and 7 after Paul's hamstring injury, had to say in Houston's devastated locker room: "If Chris was out there, we'd be playing on Thursday".

Tucker's 3 was the first of seven straight points for Houston which cut the lead to 89-83. First, without Paul, the Rockets were missing their most reliable midrange player; someone who at times had his way against the Jazz in the second-round series because of his ability to neutralize a club that was generally happy surrender that sort of lower-percentage look.

Judge orders man to move out of parents' house
Legg: "that there is 'Common law requirement of six-month notice to quit before tenant may be removed through ejectment action". It's time for a 30-year-old man to move out of his parents' home , an upstate NY judge ruled Tuesday.

Kerr said the raw talent of the Warriors line-up, with Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson suddenly clicking, was decisive.

"Much respect to the Houston Rockets for bringing the best out of us and making this an incredible series and pushing us to the brink", Durant said."You've got to give respect to them and the great season that they had".

However, like I noted in my last article, you can't help but feel frustrated because this team was so darn close to heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.

The Warriors are just devastating in the third quarter, and they picked the flawless time to continue that trend.

"Didn't know (if) we were gonna make trades or not". "They'd make a little run, he'd hit a three".

"He's unbelievable", Boston coach Brad Stevens told reporters Sunday after losing Game 7. I took umbrage with those.
