Man rants about Spanish-speaking cafe workers

Jerk Videotaped Threatening To Call ICE On Two Women Speaking Spanish TO EACH OTHER — Obviously He's A

The Intercept columnist Shaun King tweeted a call to identify the man, and Twitter users rose to the challenge and pointed to Aaron Schlossberg.

In the video, which was filmed Tuesday at a Fresh Kitchen restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, Schlossberg is seen berating customers who were speaking Spanish to a worker at the eatery.

At one point, Schlossberg slows and pivots around, jogging backward to make sure he's a safe question-asking distance away from reporters. Apparently, another event called Latin Party at Racist Aaron Schlossberg's Midtown Office, which will be hosted by the Unofficial DNC, will also be taking place this week. "This is America", the man says in the video.

The video shows Schlossberg approach Willie Morris, a MA native, and asks, "What country are you from? I'm gonna call the police", Schlossberg yelled at the man in a confrontation that was later uploaded to YouTube. While he seems to hate the idea of people speaking Spanish in the United States, he ironically lists that he can speak Spanish and can do a consultation in the language. I'm a citizen here.

"You're an ugly f**king foreigner, so f**k you", he added, before Morris and his friend made a decision to walk away.

On Thursday it was reported that Schlossberg was kicked out of the law office he was renting.

New York City lawyer Aaron Schlossberg recently came under fire for his racist rant inside a Mexican restaurant but it wasn't his first time sparking up controversy. "They're grabbing my personal items".

"They won't let me move".

A lawyer who threatened to call immigration enforcement on restaurant workers who angered him by speaking Spanish has had a complaint filed against him with a disciplinary committee that oversees lawyers in the state. In the viral video, he claimed that he would have both of the Spanish-speaking people deported.

"I pay for their welfare - the least they can do is speak English", he said. "The last thing we should be doing is getting upset when they're speaking a language other than English".

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Schlossberg gave $500 to Donald Trump in May 2016.

Schlossberg has been the target of much anger since the rant was publicized.

Two elected officials sent a letter Thursday to the disciplinary committee that oversees lawyers in NY state to file a formal complaint against him. "He said, 'I'm highly educated and I doubt you are, and you need to go back to your country.' I said, 'Funny, I am in my country".
