Amazon is also obtaining building permits in the two cities, though there hasn't been any confirmation regarding the store's opening dates or specific locations. It has posted job listings for store managers in the cities on its own site, which were first noticed by the Seattle Times. There's no word yet on when the new locations may open, but it has previously been reported that Amazon wants to open six new Go locations this year.

Amazon plans to open cashierless stores in Chicago and San Francisco, according to the Chicago Tribune. There are still no more announcements about when future stores will be ready for the general public, but real-estate tracker Curbed has hunted down the locations selected by Amazon.
